Looking for Accommodation on the Great Lakes in NSW?
We offer accommodation on a houseboat, here at the jetty, when the houseboats are not out on hire. It’s something a bit different from staying in a motel. The view across the river is quite magical.
The fresh water Myall Lakes are part of The Great Lakes which also include Smith’s Lake and Wallis Lake (both saltwater) near Forster.
Wake up to the sounds of Cockatoos, Magpies and Rainbow Lorikeets. Roll over to peer out of your bedside window and catch the first glimpses of the unspoilt wilderness of the Myall Lakes.
To end this perfect day, sit back and watch another magnificent sunset.

KAYAK Hire
With so much water around you might like to hire a kayak or stand-up paddle board (SUP). Lazy Paddles can deliver single sit-on-top kayaks and SUPs to Bulahdelah for you to take on your houseboat (subject to availability). $200 per kayak or SUP for two nights, $300 for five nights – includes delivery to Bulahdelah. Call Lazy Paddles on 0412 832 220 to book. This is a separate business and all inquiries need to be directed to Lazy Paddles.
Have a group of six or more? Lazy Paddles can take you on a kayak tour at a suitable location on the Myall lakes or river. Call Lazy Paddles on 0412 832 220 to discuss options for a fun activity for all the family.
At times, the National Park may be closed due to extreme conditions like bushfire threat. The waterways remain open and you may have limited access to the land. Usually, Myall Shores Holiday Park also remains open so you have access to extra supplies and coffee shop, etc.
